Wedding Exchange Terms
They explain which services are free, when membership is required, how member transactions work, and what Ministries of Love administers directly.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, protect your login, and be at least 18 years old or have the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Wedding Exchange accounts are separate from OrdainedPro accounts. Ministries of Love may restrict accounts used for fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, or repeated violations of these terms.
Free accounts and annual membership
Creating an account and donating directly to Ministries of Love are free. An active $25 annual membership is required for member marketplace activity, including listing, gifting to another member, exchanging, reselling, requesting or claiming items, and member messaging. Ministries of Love currently charges no separate listing or transaction percentage. Any checkout must disclose the amount and renewal terms before a charge is submitted.
Listings and moderation
Members must describe items honestly, use their own photographs, disclose material damage or missing parts, and provide accurate price, condition, location, shipping, and handoff information. Listings remain nonpublic until reviewed. Ministries of Love may decline, edit, pause, or remove listings that are misleading, unsafe, unlawful, discriminatory, unrelated to weddings, or inconsistent with the ministry mission.
Member-to-member transactions
Sales, gifts, and exchanges between members are arranged directly by those members. Unless a listing is expressly identified as a ministry-owned rental or direct ministry donation, Ministries of Love is not the buyer, seller, owner, shipper, guarantor, or payment processor for the transaction. Members are responsible for agreeing on price, payment method, shipping, pickup, inspection, and completion records.
Safety and prohibited conduct
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, government identification numbers, or unnecessary financial information through marketplace messages. Use traceable payment methods, keep communication in the platform when possible, meet in a safe public location, and inspect items before completing a handoff. Fraud, threats, harassment, counterfeit goods, stolen property, hazardous items, and attempts to evade moderation are prohibited.
Shipping, pickup, and item condition
Members are responsible for packing, carrier selection, tracking, insurance, pickup arrangements, and documenting condition unless a listing states otherwise. Ministries of Love does not guarantee delivery, fit, color accuracy, alteration results, or suitability of member-owned items. Report a material listing problem promptly so the ministry can review the account and listing records.
Donations to the ministry
Direct donations are governed by the Ministries of Love Donation Policy. Donated items become ministry property after acceptance and may be cleaned, repaired, stored, gifted, rented, repurposed, declined, or responsibly disposed of in support of the mission.
Ministry-owned rentals and deposits
A ministry-owned rental is governed by the separate Wedding Exchange Rental Agreement and the item-specific terms shown before approval. Rental fees, refundable deposits, permitted alterations, release timing, return deadlines, condition records, and documented deductions are administered by Ministries of Love.
Cancellations, renewals, and refunds
The checkout or item approval presented before payment controls the applicable charge, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms. No charge should be submitted when checkout is unavailable. Member-to-member payment disputes must be addressed between the participating members and their payment provider. Contact Ministries of Love promptly about an unauthorized ministry charge or an unresolved safety concern.
Privacy and communications
Account, listing, photo, message, moderation, donation, rental, and transaction-support records are handled under the Ministries of Love Privacy Policy. By creating an account, you agree to receive account verification, security, moderation, request, rental, and other service communications. Marketing communications, if offered, require a separate choice.
Availability and changes
The Wedding Exchange may change, pause, or discontinue features, and Ministries of Love cannot guarantee that a particular item, member, message, or service will remain available. Material changes to these terms will be identified by a new version date. Continued use after notice of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
